I’m so glad you’re enjoying Death Note! L’s reveal comes at the perfect time. Light shows himself to have cruel intentions more and more, which, as Oak points out, makes you start to hate him a bit. L, before revealing himself, had more of a strictly professional approach, and yet he is willing to show parts of himself to the detectives (his childish personality and strong sense of justice). Although what L shows is admittedly limited, it’s *major* he decided to let the detectives in, in the first place. Here we’re finally given a proper intro to a character we can “follow,” as opposed to simply witness.

Death Note, Dragon Ball, Bleach and Naruto! Some of the best anime’s I grew up on and I’m so glad to see you all enjoying Death Note episode after episode. People used to say anime was just for kids. Little did they know….-Hi from Canada 😊
