Stepping up our game as promised

I apologize for not updating you all sooner, truth is i didn't have much to show while everyone else was getting started on Episode 2. We're not quite up to the place where we start doing the animation for the episode yet. However what we have done now is the following:

-100% done of the Screenplay

-100% done of the Storyboarding

-100% done of the Voice actors' Lines first draft (Meaning the voice actors reads their line so we can have a rough idea of the lip flaps and once the animation will be all ready we will have them redub over their original take so the pacing and the emotion match better)

And now we wait on the straineous part of episode making which is drawing those every frames that takes forever. As we start however we're focusing on key framing the whole episode. Later on we'll do what is called the "In-between" which is the animation liking all keyframes together.

But rest assured i did come with some visuals to share. First off we roughly colored the keyframe that serves as the title header for this post. Give you something to sink your teeth in. Obviously this only serves as color composition and will not be the final result. But if i do say so myself it does give off a brand new appeal.

Secondly we some backgrounds for you all to enjoy.

Now i'm sure some of you are all like: "Yeah these shots are nice and all but it doesn't show much about the animation improvement". Which I agree i've left you all in the dark  on that front ever since our initial announcement. Again that being the case because animation takes time. However we pushed to get something ready for you guys to see how serious we are about improving our game. So i hope you can swing an eye on the joint file where you will find and uncolored BUT animated Gif that will let you see our new and improved Frame rate. No more characters stuttering as they go across somewhere. Hopefully everything here gets you guys as excited as I am.
