The real MVP for me in this (besides Downey and Law) is the music!

Kirstine Aaen

Please check out BBC Sherlock 🖤

Just Lily

yeah i thought these films were ok, not something I go back and rewatch really, I've seen the first one a couple times the second only once. That being said, my daughter got me to sit and watch the Benedict Cumberbatch series called, "Sherlock" I enjoyed that way more than these films. So much better. Martin Freeman as Watson nailed it as well. Very well done.. There's a reason why it has a 9.1 rating on IMDb. Think the guys should watch that as their next series

Ryan Towell

I've said this before but ill say it again since you all seem to be a fan of Mark Strong; I would LOVE it if you all reacted to "The Brothers Grimsby". It's one of the most insane comedy movies I've even seen. And I mean insane in a good way. If you know anything about Sacha Baron Cohen or the movies he has directed and starred in, like Borat or The Dictator, he has also directed and stars in The Brothers Grimsby and Mark Strong is amazing in it as well. You may not think Mark would be good in a comedy but he really is!

That's why I'm always glad when people can see this movie before BBC Sherlock, that way they can enjoy this movie without the comparison that might make it difficult.

Jeremy Burch

This one was a hard watch for me as I couldn’t help comparing to BBC Sherlock the entire time. I can’t believe I’m saying this about RDJ, but his version felt like a caricature compared to Ben’s interpretation.

So a bit of background from the books: Holmes is actually a well versed martial artist, as a result of his obession to know a lot about every subject. That translates into things that you wouldn't think he'd normally take an interest in. As you saw in the movie, he regularly engages in fisticuffs and prize fighting. Watson, if my memory serves me, is actually the narrator of the books so at the end when Mary was talking about his journals I think is a reference to him writing about thier cases. Holmes has a long history of substance abuse so the fact that he was consistently drugging himself on various things comes as no surprise to long time readers. And, again if my memory serves me correctly, essentially Holmes and Watson met as basically college roommates. There Holmes introduced Watson to his particular brand of deductive reasoning and trained him in it and Watson stayed with Holmes as they moved on from school and into adulthood. So the fact that Watson is moving out in this movie to live with Mary is basically the end of an era for them.

Yeah I heard there were talks to make it happen but I'm not all that hopeful about it. The quality of storytelling these days has drastically declined.

I love anything Sherlock Holmes, I might like it at different levels. Shows like Elementary might be at a lower level, movies like this one and Enola Holmes are more of a medium, medium high and BBC's Sherlock is extremely high, but either way I usually always end up enjoying them. Great reaction, I look forward to the next one.

Jeremy Burch

I hope you guys watch Enola Holmes as well

Dis Ramen

BBC SHERLOCK PLEASE!! Great reaction as always

Skullhead

Loved this movie! Fun watching with y’all, so excited for the next Sherlock movie 😃

Super Fan Sophie

I love this one, fun watch with you guys! But also if you liked his you *have* to watch the BBC Sherlock series! A modern take it's really different from a lot of other adaptations. I think it was probably what put Benedict Cumberbatch on the map and he plays off Martin Freeman so well.

Natacha Pedersen

I love to see some people already recommend BBC Sherlock series so, I will jump to the party: check out BBC Sherlock 🕵🏻‍♂️

Fajar Kurniawan

Yay my movie ❤️

Love10 ❤️

Cool story bro

TexasSnyper

would love for you guys to watch Sherlock series from BBC 👀

Milly

Great reaction. I love the two movies. The second one has one of the best action scenes ever made. I hope you're gonna watch the sequel very soon. 😊

Hell is real, demons are real, the devil is real, God loves you, and does not want you to end up in hell. Give Jesus a chance, he payed for your sins on the cross, so you don't have to. Your soul and salvation is worth infinitely more than you can ever imagine. Do not carelessly, ignorantly or foolishly throw it away. Turn to Jesus and he will save you and those who you know, from the fires and torments of hell Look into God's true word (The Holy Bible) as it is a love letter from God to you, so you can be saved (it will be the most important thing you ever read/look into) For those who do not believe or unfortunately believe in false religions and doctrines, the evidence/proof you seek, is only a click or search away

God loves you ✝️🩷

I also recommend checking out the BBC Sherlock series, it has fewer but longer episodes, and is really well done:)

Michael Gray

Love these movies but the BBC Sherlock series with Benedict Cumberbatch will always be my favorite. Hope you guys check that out.

BlueJean452

Really? That would be awesome

Love love love this movie, no idea if this carries any truth but I like to think the Batman character took inspiration from Sherlock. And while it wasn't this way in the novels I like the relationship between Irene and Sherlock (with them having obvious feelings for each other) kinda reminds me of Batman and Catwoman. But yeah this is just such a fun movie, absolutely love it!

I'm Batman

I forgot how much fun this movie was! Glad you guys had fun with it too 🤘😃

I love these 2 movies. I have been waiting for the third like for ever now it feels... Awesome reaction pals!

If you'd like to dive into Sherlock Holmes some more, I suggest watching ITV's The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes in your own time. Jeremy Brett plays a fantastic Holmes and it's also set in the late 19th century like the original stories. Enjoyable reaction. Oak's 'Rachel McAdams is down here whoopin' ass' quote was a highlight. 😂

AD1928

As a SERIOUS Guy Ritchie stan I may be a bit biased but I remember really enjoying this movie when I first saw it. Haven't seen it since that initial watch so looking forward to seeing if my feelings on it chaage at all. Plus, seeing what you fellas think 🤘🏻

Roxanne LIL CRIP Kemmerer

This is a great month to be a patron. Thank you all!

Ronny H

I loved RDJ as Sherlock and it was so good to see him play a different kind of character 🩶

Ronny H

I still think the BBC version is better but, this is still a good one.

PastelGhostWriter94

Not my favourite Sherlock, but I still love the plot and the trick 🕵🏻‍♂️

Fajar Kurniawan

I'd completely forgotten this movie was on the polls so seeing this notification today blew me tf away! Love, love, love this version! Can't wait to get home and watch your reactions
