I'm not a huge fan of this film but I think it's a bit of a commentary on the objectification and exploitation of women in society and in media which is pretty cool I remember reading an article that compared Jennifer’s transformation into a demon to how women in Hollywood are treated and called crazy monsters when they speak up and try to find some sort of justice when they’ve been assaulted or abused by men in power. I believe this was released pre the #metoo movement or in the early days of it.
