Patch 0.2.3a
Added 2025-05-26 21:58:58 +0000 UTCGameplay Changes:
Sprinting and Stamina Rework
Sprinting is now disabled when Stamina reaches 0%. You must release the Shift key before it can be used again.
Sprinting now costs 10% less Stamina
Stamina regenerates 50% faster when above 30%.
Tech Tree Fully Implemented - Skills and recipes in the Tech Tree are now gated by Tier Unlocks, which depend on the type of node:
Mastery Skills → unlocked by Main Character Level
Attribute Skills (e.g., Vitality, Mind) → unlocked by the corresponding Attribute Level
Profession Recipes (e.g., Cooking, Engineering) → unlocked by the corresponding Profession Level
Examples:
Tier 2 Cooking recipes require Cooking Skill Level 2
Tier 3 Fighting skills require Fighting Skill Level 3
Tier 4 Mastery skills require Main Level 4
Fury, Willpower & Desire
These core resources are now correctly assigned and fully functional.
Map Changes:
Tower Cells (currently locked)
Watchtower (accessible via Ledder, but no current content)
Using Stairs/Ledder now drains twice as much Rest.
Vitality now requires significantly more effort to reach Level 2.
Cleanliness System & Status Effects
Bloodied - After slaying more than 2 enemies, the MC becomes Bloodied, increasing Menace by 1. This effect remains until the MC is cleaned.
When Hygiene drops below 5, the MC becomes Dirty, making conversations with the princess harder. While Dirty, Hygiene decays much faster over time.
When Hygiene drops below 3, the MC becomes Smelly, preventing casual conversations with the Princess. (Note: This specific effect is not fully implemented yet.)
Slaying enemies now significantly reduces Hygiene only if the MC is clean. If already Dirty, the impact is minor. (Instead, Hygiene decays faster naturally over time.)
Crafting & Furniture System
Furniture crafting is no longer instant. MC must walk to the required spot to begin crafting directly on the map.
Items
Bed - Can now be crafted and placed, improving sleep quality by 25%.
Ledder - Can now be crafted and placed
Lever Arm - Can now be crafted and placed
New Craftable Items (Recipes from the dungeon now work properly):
Paddle
Broom

Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug that occasionally made it impossible to start or load the game.
Princess Routine Fixed - Time skips no longer break her movement routes or cause overlapping events.
Chests can only be looted once before being destroyed.
Fixed a bug where the Timber Dust recipe incorrectly produced Plank.
Save Compatibility
Some Techtree nodes are still not yet implemented but will still unlock their skills/recipes retroactively in existing saves. However, a specific issue with the Timber Dust recipe caused it to incorrectly produce Plank. While new recipes can now be added without requiring a new game, already learned recipes cannot be edited in existing saves. As a result, saves from version 0.2.2 may become incompatible due to this fix.
Comments
Yes, the latest version always includes previous fixes. I've just replaced version 0.2.3 with 0.2.3a, another bug has been found, so make sure you have 0.2.3a

2025-05-26 22:27:20 +0000 UTCQuick question, does this Patch have the 0.2.1 and the 0.2.2 inside it, or i need to also download and install them in the game??? This isn’t clear enough....
