Voting Poll #01 — Human vs Goblin MC

Hey everyone,

There’s been some feedback about the new MC. Some people like him, some don’t mind, and some aren’t really happy with the change.

Having a human MC definitely changed the feel of the game. He’s not seen as an ugly monster, which affects how everything plays out the whole relationship leans more toward romance. I wasn’t entirely confident in the choice, especially since making male characters in HS2 is difficult due to limited customization. I was never really happy with the result, and that was also the reason I made most animations in a way that makes it easy to replace the MC later if needed.

Since Rumble couldn’t be the MC, I didn’t really see another option at the time. But after reading your feedback, I’m now seriously considering making a new goblin MC - a nastier one.

Replacing the MC wouldn’t take much time just a day or two, so that’s not a big deal. But of course, it would completely change the tone of the game.

The nasty goblin character is actually already prepared. I created him a couple months ago but never used him. So here’s a quick preview of what the game would look like with him as the MC.

Options:

1. Human MC
– More romance-based, emotional relationship

2. Nasty Goblin MC
– More corruption and mischief
– Princess might be doing more questionable or disgusting things
– Genuine relationship still possible
– Can’t fully clean himself (some dirt stays)

Also, there’s the Urge Meter system (not yet enabled). It makes the MC feel uncomfortable if his needs aren’t met lowering Willpower gain and causing a visible bulge during certain events. But for the goblin, this might go further maybe his thing slips out of his underwear during events or even while walking, triggering new event possibilities.

I know for some of you, the MC might not seem like a big deal. But in this case, it changes the entire feel of the gameplay and the dynamic with the princess.
