Switching Proper Places (Part 3)

I've been reading some fantastic (non-stepford) writing by a few other creators lately, and it's something that I sorely needed to reinvigorate me and give me new ideas for my own work. Not cribbing ideas, but stuff like getting me to realize that a slower, more deliberately paced story could be the change I need to keep my interest in my own work up.
I don't know how long this story is going to be, and I don't know the exact path it'll take, but I do know where it ends, and I'm really excited to keep writing it. If it gets too long, I'll start balancing it with other stories, but for now I'm happy with where it's going, and where Rory and Nina are heading as characters.
Specifically, I knew I wanted to give a good few chapters before we got to see the change which occurs in this chapter. I hope you enjoy!
