Cabaret (Stepfordization)
Added 2022-04-27 12:01:01 +0000 UTCThis is an idea I've had kicking around for a little while, and slowly refining until I was happy with it. The basic premise, a club which is overtaken and transformed into a Stepford friendly business model, stuck, as did the idea of two different bands being involved.
The changes were mostly in how it plays out, and at what pace. Initially, I figured I would seed the idea of Stepford citizens moving into this city, popping into the club, and then skip ahead several months to show how everything has changed. But there weren't really any specific instances of Stepfordization, or a clear picture of how the change happened.
I'm happy with where it ended up though. I always have a difficult time with writing classic conditioning, but I worked hard at making it work here. I love to read it, even if it's tricky to write, so I wanted to practice at it some more.
As for the mention of The Community... Well, they got namedropped in my setting bible, but have their origins in conversations between myself and a friend on discord who I bounce ideas off of. They're a somewhat more fascistic, militaristic Stepford community, who tend to have family units consisting of 3 spouses, and a heavy heavy emphasis on public kink. I don't plan to do a whole lot with them in my stories, as I prefer having them be a somewhat private thing with this friend, but I thought it would provide some nice variety in this story.

Would it be possible to see a sequel to this at some point? Because i like what you did with Raine and it would be interesting to continue her or Dolly's story.

2022-05-09 04:47:16 +0000 UTCAlright, what about a story where the lady is being brainwashed but is resisting it only to completely succumb? I would like to see the whole brainwashing process because in some of your stories it kind of just gets glossed over, or isn't given much of a look into. I'd like to have the procedure of it shown first hand from the perspective of the victim if at all possible.
