Story feedback
Added 2020-05-26 01:15:54 +0000 UTCHi everyone! I just wanted to check with all my patrons, at every level, and ask for some feedback.
Is there anything you’d like to ask, or request? Whether it relates to aspects of my writing you think could be improved, things you’d like to see more of, or ways in which you’d want me to branch out... anything really! Please, just comment and let me know! Don’t be shy!

Oh yay! So glad you feel the same way about it. Very glad to have inspired you. Now I'll make sure to keep an eye out for the references and callbacks you may sneak in to future stories. The way I see it, the more connections there are, the more your version of Stepford could start to feel like a community, making it understandable why more and more women would enjoy joining up!

Oftentimes, if I connect one story to another, its a spur of the moment decision, but thanks to your comment I've been planning out various other connections I can make in the future! I already viewed my stories as mostly taking place in the same setting (with the exceptions of Brand New Day, which takes place in the "real world", and Stepford Virus), but I'll be happy to make that more apparent going forward! I also agree that it'd be a nice little treat to see old protagonists returning in the background!

2020-05-30 13:50:48 +0000 UTCAs it happens I've been thinking about interconnected fictional universes lately, so a thought occurs to me: It might be nice to see characters pop up again in multiple stories. Now granted, since most of your characters reach their happy endings by the end of their stories, there doesn't need to be much for them to do dramatically, but it could be fun to have a check-in. Maybe a character passes through an ice cream parlor where Molly Johnson is on a date with Sam from the runaway story, or see Elizabeth and Sally from "Rock Around the Clock" on their way to a concert. You've kind of been doing this already, with the allusion to "Atomic Bandstand" in "Memories," but I say do even more if you want! Even just a throwaway line would tickle some of us readers. Other than that, I just say keep doing what you're doing! I anticipate each new "Academia" update, I think it has the potential to be your strongest multi-parter yet! :)
