Ah, yes, I was very sad too when the old cinema in my hometown closed ... although we couldn't afford to go often. Made it a lot more special though when we did.

To be honest, at least in GOTG 3 with Karen Gillian (didn't the lads meet her once? FREAKIN JEALOUS, I'm a huge Doctor Who 11 fan-Matt Smith <3) and Zoe Saldana that film at least has TWO main female characters (plus one minor one) although I gave up on this movie with Vol.1. And I love sci-fi, it's just...idk why. I just did. Waiting for The Little Mermaid live action though, it was the first movie (animated) I ever saw in my life which now makes me sound very old. Oh times when there weren't big cinemas yet (a big one here closed in March and it made me very sad to see it go, even though it was deteriorating)

I love the director's cut! The sketch is brilliant! It comes with an unexpected benefit: a friend is dragging me off to watch the new Guardians of Galaxy (I don't want to go, ten seconds into the trailer I was already bored), but now I'm going to amuse myself trying to figure out which character got which accent - with the sketch on repeat in my mind! 😆

Loved the sketch, and loved this longer version! 🤣🤣🤣 Personally I think an Aussie could be the Space Captain: "Yeah, nah, the hyperspace drive is still fucked. Gimme a sec and she'll be right"

Thanks for giving us the "director's cut" version! 👏 I think more of the accents should have been left in; this was all quite funny. (The "CML" joke was the only bit that I found hard to catch & understand. I assume Celtic-Mexican-Louisiana is three separate accents from which to choose, and not an unholy mashup of the three...?)
