Venmo and patreon can glitch each only other out so I’d recommend using one app or the other if you’re on your phone. Good luck!

Its annoying when the vid freezes but you can still hear A describing the tour.

Loved this, thank you. Fascinating. Glad you are working in such an interesting place. The tiny doors seem very extreme. But needs must I suppose when a theatre has got to try and squeeze as much audience in as they can.xx

Foil in that "prison" 😂 Nice to see that you're having fun in your tour, lads

Do these links stop working after x days? As this doesn't work for me

If you like that style of theatre the Grande in Brescia is the place for you.

Bowled over by the cultural specificity of "cozy damp." I'd bet a nickel that the Germans do not have a 26-character compound word for that, but the Scottish call it "còsagach."

yes, that is what I was thinking too. I wonder if that's the door Foil used to get up there...

I'll bet the tiny door is just low enough that it can't be seen from anywhere in the audience, so someone could crawl through it and then "appear suddenly" on the balcony as part of a performance.

The thing is, they’re not actually boxes for the audience or “Royal boxes”. They’re actually designed as an addition to the stage for an actor to pop out and deliver lines from a higher location. For example Juliet on her balcony in Romeo and Juliet. And for that reason their technical name is actually “Juliets”. They face more towards the audience than the stage as well. (Just an FYI for those curious!)

Thanks, I did notice the regular sized door the second time around!

Yeah if you watch closely, Arms walks out the way the occupants go in (I think)

Thanks for another lovely tour - Hog showing us how to be late, Foil "in captivity," Arms crawling through tiny doors, and Duck jumping for joy! That is indeed a beautiful theatre, too. (There is an old theatre that looks quite similar in Victoria, Canada, just so you know....) The fruit that Hog disliked resembled a black plum; like many fruits they can be quite unpleasant if underripe. It's good to see you enjoying yourselves, but I'll join the chorus of shocked FAHns telling Foil to be more careful on balconies!

Great theatre! We were the front row of the first tier (dress circle) and it felt really close to the stage. We were there on the night that Foil got lifted up by the guy in the box. Very scary!!! Anyway, it was terrific to finally see you live. My cheeks ached from laughing so much.

After you go through the tiny door, there appears to be another door on the right. I would presume that the patrons come in through there.

😍Stunning! Was just wondering if there was another way to access those “royal boxes”.. not very royal / flattering to get to the sits crawling! 😆

Is it me or the stage seems to be cordoned off a bit to make it smaller?

Lynn Cai

Thanks for the tour, it's great and appreciated!

So, i don't understand, the people sitting in those royal boxes seats had to squeeze through those tiny doors? I knew Royals were smallish in general, but this is rubbing it in there noses!
