Though I'm still going to hope for a few (not every night, that is actually insane) maybe 'best of' shows at Edin Fringe? Pleeease. Is there a pig equivalent of the bee's knees, the dog's balls, etc. The pig's trotters? The best of FAH.

2022-10-05 15:43:44 +0000 UTCYeah the post above confirms its Hogwash. Which totally makes sense. If you have heaps of fans everywhere why not tour the show until a chunk of people have seen it. It's fun. It must be a little less stressful. We're all happy!

2022-10-05 15:41:33 +0000 UTCIt's very likely that now they're touring a lot more places than they did in their earlier days, they could very well change their strategy and release a new show every two years so that they can bring the same show to a wider area. Or they can still release a new show every year, but only be able to tour a particular area of the world every two years.

2022-10-05 14:27:15 +0000 UTCI was thinking the same thing! Now that they're touring in more places outside Ireland and the UK, I can image it's hard to fit everything in one year so they might tour with hogwash longer than just this year, and I think the dates in sep/oct 2023 are also presented as the hogwash your?
2022-10-05 14:27:13 +0000 UTCApril is an excellent time to travel in Ireland. Just saying.
2022-10-05 14:18:20 +0000 UTCHmm yes maybe! It also means if they do it over 2 years they really can tour the show more places without absolutely knackering themselves to do it? I'm happy either way so ๐๐ FAH on tour!

2022-10-05 14:00:01 +0000 UTC๐ผ[melody of 'White Christmas']๐ตI'm... dreaming... of a FAHn... roadtrip...!๐ถ
2022-10-05 13:53:07 +0000 UTCI had similar thoughts, and I wonder if they discovered that they actually like touring with the same show for longer as they did with Swines because of the break caused by the pandemic.
2022-10-05 13:50:39 +0000 UTCThanks Andrea! I like the against all odds answer. I do love Hogwash... But I started thinking what if they didn't do Edin Fringe and just toured Hogwash longer!? Which would be understandable... writing a new show and doing the fringe must be exhausting (but surely the most exciting part!?).

2022-10-05 12:12:16 +0000 UTCSpeaking as someone who knows absolutely nothing(as I have a tendency to do ๐ซฃ)โฆbut based on past practice in no -pandemic years, the lads write a new show May-July, polish it up at Edinburgh inAugust, and perform it September-May, and repeat. Itโs certainly conceivable they wouldnโt write a new show next summer, and just continue touring Hogwash, but it would be against the odds.

2022-10-05 12:05:53 +0000 UTCLetโs all go and celebrate it properly! ๐๐ฅณ
2022-10-05 11:56:43 +0000 UTCDoes anyone know if the dates in Oct/Nov 2023 will be Hogwash?

2022-10-05 11:54:43 +0000 UTCAww, now thatโฆ Cork on my birthdayโฆ very tempting ๐
2022-10-05 11:09:22 +0000 UTCFinally an incentive to travel Ireland ๐
2022-10-05 11:04:38 +0000 UTCI could go to Cork just to hear Foil do the accent for the whole show ๐คฃ

2022-10-05 10:46:07 +0000 UTCSomeone had to do it.
2022-10-05 10:43:44 +0000 UTCFor me, London definitely, and possibly Liverpool and Manchester.

2022-10-05 10:32:08 +0000 UTCYou have so many plans for touring now! I'm curious to which the other venues (& dates) will be for 'mainland Europe', but I'm coming to see you in your home town anyway!
2022-10-05 10:26:19 +0000 UTCDID SOMEBODY MENTION CORK?! (Sorry)

2022-10-05 10:11:08 +0000 UTCI think it stopped being sensible for me when I went to multiple shows back to back ๐๐
2022-10-05 10:09:45 +0000 UTCI'll definitely be in London, but probably a sensible 8-10 rows back.
2022-10-05 10:08:38 +0000 UTCNot sure yet, have to plan that all out tonight and make rough guesses for prices that far in advance! ๐๐
2022-10-05 10:05:35 +0000 UTCI wonder if Cork in April might be an easier sell for the boyfriend than Dublin in December. (No disrespect to Dublin). I've got the passport but never properly visited the ancestral lands. (Which are actually Antrim and Monaghan, but who's counting).
2022-10-05 10:04:41 +0000 UTCMe too. Which shows in the UK are you planning to attend?
