It's Arms who starts it all by messing up his line, but then Foil can't stop laughing at Arms every time they stand up to shake hands, so I would say that they both set each other off!

Will point out that Arms seems to be the common factor when there's only two of them and the giggles hit. This reminded me of the out takes for When a Snob Flies Economy, they couldn't get the giggles under control there either

Arms definitely started it, Foil perpetuated it. Without giggly Arms leading him astray, he might have never so much as tittered. We'll never know. And the "Mr Hughes" was uncalled for, so that's definitely a black mark in your ledger Arms. Hence, I find the defendants equally culpable, it being impossible to extricate Foil's escalation from Arms' provocation. *raps gavel enthusiastically*

It's a laugh off! In the Red corner we have Conor Armsington McKenna, facing off against Seán Foiley Finegan from the blue corner. In the yellow corner we have Yellow Derek! (Crowd goes wild) who will not be competing tonight. (Crowd goes mild) It's not the first time these two have gone head to head and of course they're both champions in their own right in their respective fields. Not in the National Ploughing championships as that is of course, not their field. But tonight they are not competing for fame or glory, no, this goes deeper than that. Tonight is a grudge match. They're going to settle who is the one to blame for not letting them go home at a reasonable hour, and they're off!

...Since you are comedians, wouldn't the one who caused the other guy to laugh the most actually be the more talented of the two? 🤔
