About to release the version 0.17.5 patch, here's a few notes about it:
-Male Neko Hair and Textures (Male Nekos now spawn with 1 of the 3 male hair meshes, and an altered texture)
-Nekos no longer spawn with double penises xD
-Buffs added to Save System, reloading your file will not reset Monster's Buffs
-Garden Load screen shows a bit more data about the Save Files, shows Day and Money now
-Ruby Trainer command (Shift+1) Spawn Neko now loads their hair and skin colour properly when spawned, no longer requires reload to see hair and/or skin colour
-Updated Item Codes list, all new Items are available for Free at the Post Office (for Ruby Trainers only)
-Harpy Visit/Resident Requirements now include all trees in their calculation, including Cacti, as well as Apple, Orange, and Peach Trees
-Fixed an error where Visiting Monsters whose Resident Requirements were fulfilled after the 'leave garden countdown clock' had already expired would experience an infinite loop, preventing them from ever becoming Residents

2018-10-15 07:59:07 +0000 UTCI couldn't find any errors in the code which would prevent saved elements from loading. It's possible you were playing an older version where the elements in question had not yet been added to the save system. So sorry about the inconvenience :{
