Fences/ Gates Fixed
Added 2017-10-10 22:43:08 +0000 UTCI wanted to make a post specifically about this update, I've consolidated all of the decorations in the game into one Class. This way the save system can save all decorations in the game using the current system, and I don't have to write a million lines of code looking for each individual type of item. I'll be adding the Stone Fences and Stone Fence Gates to the game for the next update, to take advantage of this newly cleaned up system.
There are 2 differences between Wooden and Stone fences.
The first being their total HP, gates and fences now store an HP value, since when Beast type monsters are added to the game, they may choose to destroy a fence rather than walk over it.
The second difference is what types of monsters can pass over them. Wooden fences will only block Resident monsters, while Stone fences will prevent even Visiting monsters from passing through them. Feral monsters will still walk over Stone fences, and Beast monsters may choose to simply destroy them. A third type will eventually be added to prevent this, perhaps a very expensive, hard to make Electric Fence.
The game also stores whether a fence was open or closed when the game saved :3
