It will be challenging to keep a repeat season interesting. Unless he hands everything off to Sandra and goes on a season long side quest and we only get Chester progress in the background.

Either that happens or we get like 6 books in league two! But I suspect that narrative focus of the football will be less about results and more “how can they be good without max”, which you can see has already been set up since the first games.

I was thinking a cameo to find out what kind of person Sandra fell in love with, but this is a major, important side plot Also: fuuuuuuck, damn you getting me invested in a victory against a goddam *premier league* team!
