STARLIGHT EXPRESS! STARLIGHT EXPRESS! STARLIGHT EXPRESSSSS!

Haldis Grey plays the leading lady of the train show, and as a lightfooted little chameleon, they are well complimented by their leading "man", equally little Autumn Somers (not shown, sorry!). Haldis used to be called Ellis, but I changed it up because I have too many characters with the "el" sound in their names. Yes, Haldis is enby, yes, they are a chameleon, no, they can't mutate into other people and furniture and shit. They are, however, a master color shifter, but that's the result of intense practice and rare reptilian concentration. Haldis can be kind of a primadonna, but they know better than to put on airs when the sisters Sous La Mer are stalking the /cat/walk.

Blue Angel is a mature member of the cast, well versed upon the boards, enjoying the cheers of her husband and tween daughter in the audience. She is a blue glaucus nudibranch, and as such her darker colors should technically have been on her front side, but I found she looked too much like Agnes in that case. Ergo, we're all going to have to deal with my artistic license when it comes to sea slugs. If Blue Angel wants to she can sting, but she'd rather just sing.

So these four beauties portray the train cars, or coaches if you please (engines and freight trucks are macho bruisers, regardless of gender, and here we don't regard gender with much scrutiny anyway). For those in the know, Haldis plays Pearl the Observation Car, Blue Angel is Dinah the Dining Car, and the sisters Peyton (king penguin), and Abby (river otter) MacQuarie portray Ashley the Smoking Car and Buffy the Buffet Car respectively. Yes, London changed these characters quite drastically in recent years, but I don't consider that to be canon, and WwF Starlight is timeless.
