Mantiski leads the band from behind the magnificent single-stringed washtub bass, an instrument she can feasibly play with those forelimbs! Agnes is just happy to be here, busting out those heartfelt solos on her kazoo and scrubby washy thing. Tapia is selling it all the way to the nosebleed seats on her guitar she made from guitarbage. And consummate professional Belle is pissed off at Mantiski for booking yet another /chicken/ shit gig out in the sticks. Belle's blown better jugs for better bugs. She should have taken up that offer from the Riverbottom Nightmare Band. Those guys were goin' places (like the drunk tank).

(Basic concept: street rat Sunset met a series people who kept her stable and restrained her worst impulses . . . until she infiltrated the high school solo, at which point she spiraled into her worst self.) I bring this up because: a) this is a place where names like Sunset Shimmer, Cadence, Twinkleshine, and Minuette might actually be recognized, and b) in the time between when Sunset met human Cadence and when Luna finally tracked down her niece (Cadence) and adopted her, the two of them and their friends survived by busking and begging. There's seriously only one song I've completely settled on for the busking. Early in the evening, just about supper time Over by the courthouse, they're starting to unwind Four kids on the corner, trying to bring you up Cady picks a tune out, and she blows it on the harp Down on the corner, out in the street Cady and the Poor Girls are playing Bring a nickel, tap your feet Twinkle hits the washboard, and people just got to smile Minu thumps the gut bass and solos for a while Sunset twangs the rhythm out on her Kalamazoo Cady goes into a dance and doubles on kazoo (And so on.)

When I first reached out to you years ago, I didn't know why other then I really liked your stuff and now with WwF, I know why! Not only are we in the same age range, but your stuff just calls to me. This is just so adorb and speaks with the same love that Henson had for his characters and the message he could give with them.

Second of all of all I am uncultured swine when it comes to most of Jim Henson’s work (I probably know more about him as a person than his works) so thank you for showing me this masterpiece of puppeteering.
