November: Please Don't Use iOS App To Pay
Added 2024-10-29 16:25:50 +0000 UTCSo as of next month, Patrons who pay via the Apple app will be charged an extra 30%. Neither Patreon nor I nor any other creator can do anything about this. If you would like your frog-enthusiast money to go to me and not Apple, please don't use the iOS app to pay Patreon anymore. I think you can pay via any other service and things will stay the same as always.

2024-10-29 17:53:21 +0000 UTCAn important thing to note is that current memberships, even if they were purchased in the ios app, will NOT be impacted by the 30% fee. The App Store fee will only affect new memberships purchased on or after November 4th. So says Patreon's FAQ! I'd advise everyone to drop the ios app on principle, but at least they won't be hit with a 30% price increase if they're already pledged to you.
