Sept Special: Piggy Grew

Behold as Piggy Sue's life flashes before your very eyes! It does go without saying that our porcine pal is still more or less a youngblood today, but I didn't want to cheat her out of her allotted amount of drawings, so I split up her adulthood between 20s and 30s. And yes, Piggy Sue's mane is naturally curly; she straightens it and intermittently dyes it pink.

Piglet Piggy Sue: This little piggy was the sweet apple of Sam and Piggy Lee's collective eye. Life was roses for a bit, but as Mom's stardom took off and Dad was left in unhappy obscurity, the good times and that sense of warm familial security slipped through our heroine's pudgy little fingers.

Kid Piggy Sue: Piggy Lee wanted her feisty daughter to follow in her glittering hoofsteps, and thus set her sights on a modeling career for her pretty princess. She entered Piggy Sue into junior beauty pageants, which Piggy Sue flagrantly despised. To this day, Piggy Sue resents her mother for making her strut across stages in gaudy gowns under the questionable gazes of strange adults.

Teen Piggy Sue: Eventually Piggy Lee gave up on trying to force her daughter into the limelight, and Piggy Sue hit the ground trotting. Our girl felt that she had fallen behind, and she set her academic sights high, studying hard and participating in clubs and sports to pad her resume. She graduated high school with honors and hurried on to college, where she earned her degree in marketing.

Youngblood Piggy Sue: Piggy Sue met Devon Schuyer in college; shortly thereafter he proposed. He was nice enough and the couple did love each other, more or less, but it was Piggy Lee's approval (and her lavish wedding gifts) that sealed the deal. Piggy Sue and Devon's marriage soured and wilted within three years.

Piggy Sue Today: Free from her boring marriage and once again alone to brainstorm, Piggy Sue birthed the grand idea to join creative forces with her chef and mechanic cousins. The trio wrought Three Griddle Pigs, a food truck from whence they now provide all-day breakfast food to the hungry waffle-chomping maws of St. Charlies. Piggy Sue broke loose and then vamoosed and now you know the plot!
