No, Huxley will not be written as a villain (too easy), but this turn of events will prove to plumb the depths of Piggy Sue's jealousy and insecurities, as well as Clem's passivity and inscrutability.

I've only been friends with a couple of my exes. One's 4000 miles away, the other died a few years back. I maintain a casual acquaintinceship with two others, one I see at one event per year, the other. we catch up on social media occasionally. But that's about it. So I wouldn't understand what a "close friendship with an ex" is like.

I went against the common wisdom and got myself a lifelong friend out of the deal. Pretty good consolation prize. (It helped that her husband was hugely supportive of her, and we got along great too).

You really should not be introducing high stress points into the relationship like this. This is yet another thing WwF touches on that gets glossed over far too much in slice of life, exes. They aren't all demons who need to be beaten up, (Looking at you Scott Pilgrim), but I really think when you start reconnecting with exes, you are asking for trouble if it's not just a one time thing, even if your other half is totally cool with it. Plus my god, do I really want to reconnect with someone that things didn't work out with and we partied ways? That just sounds like feeding the Drama demons and I don't want them back in my house.
