My boyos Bad and Owl, who have allowed me to borrow characters from their menageries before, had this idea for a little hermit crab kid who used a decorated cardboard box as a shell. Failing a cardboard box she can also make use of an overturned laundry basket, a large kitchen colander, or a very big hat.
