Been giving our favorite dolphin boy some mind time, and Word of Frog is as follows: Rudolpho "Rudy" Stenella Jr. is ace-aro. How I'm going to develop this is my personal challenge: canonically, he's 6 years old at the moment, but a lot of little kids get pressured by peers and adults (who may think they're being funny) to pursue romantic relationships. I think my sister had three boyfriends in kindergarten, maybe at the same time. Anyway, I can easily see Rudy being agitated as others tell him that he has to make a move on his best friend Annalise, with whom he just wants to spar, hug and exchange Groovy Ninja cards. As he grows up, he starts to figure out why. And here he assumed he just respected her a lot! Kidding.

Adult Rudy's major emotional relationships are with his /dog/ Peach, his Pa Ike, Dad Dolph, grandad Gnewt, stepdad Pod, younger sibling (tba), bestie Annalise and her husband and kids. Oh, and Rudy's daughter too! Ultimately Ike becomes a grandpa with the birth of Rudolpha Stenella, better known as Dolly. She was produced via surrogate, and I haven't decided yet if stalwart Annalise provides the service, but for now it sounds like something she'd do.
