This month you're in for a hot mess :)

RELEASE DATE - MID APRIL !

CTR 2.1 RC5 - DYNAMIC P1 and P2 PROFILES (AVX2/Light load)

Comments

Anxious to see CTR 2.1 R5 :-)

Mitch Walker

Sure thing! I’d love to! Though, that’s going to have to wait till Mid-May... That APU and I are on different continents rn. 😅 Hopefully also getting the 5700G or 5800G if that turns out to exist.

Henry Curtis Pelgrift

Previously, by mistake, it was possible to enable AVX Heavy checking, but that module was completely inoperable. Now the dynamic profiles will be able to handle requests automatically. Renoir and Zen 3 are the only processors that will be able to do this in CTR :) we can check it on your processor (APU for example) :)

Yuri Bubliy

Ah! Is this related to why AVX Heavy is disabled in RC4? Like you were tweaking those?

Henry Curtis Pelgrift

Careful Yuri. At this rate you're gonna end up chained to a post in some basement at AMD working for peanuts :(

Krewd

:D

Yuri Bubliy

PX will also gain dynamic capabilities. The maximum frequency will also depend on the load.

Yuri Bubliy

Waiting desperately for this! Hopefully can get a little more boost on the PX thanks to this.
