Terry Cobb: cobolt blue tarantula.  Looks like a big scary spider guy but is actually a soft cookie monster.  Likes death metal, grindcore and k-pop.  Straight but he don't hate.

Tallulah "Scooter" Scott: leghorn hen.  Literal sporty chick.  Will destroy you at basketball, dodgeball and Smash Bros.  Trash beak.  Mamas' girl.  Mouthpiece for the group, whether they like it or not.  Terry's girlfriend.  If the waiter brings him a baked potato and he ordered mashed, look out.  

Sylvana "Spoony" Ginshokki: spoonbill.  Fashion birb.  Knows all the gossip.  Secretly shy and awkward, tries hard to deny it.  Idolizes her cool big sister.  Concert pianist.  Probably Julliard (her parents can afford it). 

Bijou "Belle" Bellamy: Bichon Frise.  Spoony's girlfriend; sees right through her rich girl baloney.  Cute and fluffy but don't push her.  Likes to sing.  A zillion views on TikTok.  Annoyed by her cool big sister. 

Angie Mantiski: praying mantis.  De facto leader of the pack.  Brave and optimistic.  Sees the good in people.  Can get too enthusiastic.  Heiress to her mother's condominium dynasty; a bit sheltered.  Likes art and mowing lawns.

Agnes Leepe: blue dart frog.  Goes to a different school.  Mantiski's true love.  Sweet and peppy.  Cares for kids and small /animals/.  Not a pushover so don't get sassy.  Her dad doesn't approve of her dating a bug.  Drama!

Rebecca "Beck" Stomp: Montbéliarde cow.  Brains and brawn.  Stoic and quiet.  Will straight-arm punch a fool who hurts her friends.  Her cool big sister needs to mind her own business (they love each other though).

Tapia Barrios: brown tapir.  Precious smol nerd who must be protected.  Beck wants the job.  Adorkable.  Genius.  Some Ami Mizuno shit.  Not athletic.  Best friends with her own cool big sister.  Was originally supposed to be just a Disney expy inside joke but she went to her own places.  Good for her!  

Wow...two bugs, two birds, three mammals and an amphibian.  Let's go diversity!  The kids are alright.
