My sister says her kids have no interest in the Charlie Brown holiday specials. Fine, more for me. Anyway, of the three major Peanuts holiday shows, Great Pumpkin is, in my opinion, the best. It's nihilistic as fuck and just mean spirited enough to keep a jaded adult viewer laughing. Linus gets NOTHING! Sally gets NOTHING! Charlie Brown gets RIDICULE AND HUMILIATION! Snoopy is LITERALLY AT WAR for some reason! Good stuff.
