"You're not special, Ali. There will always be more pretty little piggies pretending to be wild boars. Crawl home now, baby boy."
"Fuck off, Jules. And maybe change your poor kid's diaper once in a while."
"Oh, you want a parting gift? Go grow a real beard, shithead."
It's 1970-something Philadelphia, and Julie Scroff is breaking up with her roommate/drinking buddy/kinda-boyfriend. Ali Hamadani is a second-generation Iranian-American college guy who got swept up with the disillusionment of the times. But now his parents have agreed to take him back and he's decided to bail on Julie's sinking ship. Also I'm pretty certain Ali is Clem's father. Where is he now? I may or may not care.
