Songbirds Of a Feather
Added 2022-09-11 01:12:22 +0000 UTCFiona Scott (bleeding heart dove) and Rhiann Bodach (bluejay) are a lovely avian couple who made it big a some years back as a singer/songwriter duo. While some would consider them one hit wonders, these birds laughed all the way to the bank, and their success made it possible for them to adopt their now-teenage daughter (who will appear in a future pic, fear not).
Rhiann gets her name from a JG gag I didn't get a chance to do. Rainbow wanted to perform under a stage name, and the name she came up with was Rhiann Bodach. Twilight thought it was very clever.
Did you know that male and female bluejays are pretty much impossible to tell apart, plumage-wise? And that female bleeding heart doves have purple eyes while the males have blue? I'm learning so much!
