A lot is said in the canon about pegasi and their competitive nature. In reality (in JG at least), pegasi do not care about sports that do not involve flying. It's earth ponies--thirsty for remarkable feats of strength and stamina--who value traditional sports. Here's Diamond Tiara in college, killing it on the baseball field. She's into baseball like her birth parents before her...furthermore, having DT be a pageant queen has been done before, and done well. I give you sporty DT, and no, farmer, she will not sign your ball.
