Lately I've been doing "digital oils" and this is one I just finished of Jeff Beck https://www.instagram.com/p/DS0WbquFlNu/ Check out my other posts. All done with Procreate and Apple pencil. I LOVE IT!!! And my shit is old! I'm using a second gen iPad Pro and first gen Apple pencil.....

But oddly enough it was SEEING Iron Maiden's imagery that made me listen to them. So I think creativity feeds into creativity. Also I kinda stopped oil painting for the reasons you mention. The set up. But watercolor might be something that you can look into. Its a lot easier to set up a water color station.
