The best dollar a month I ever spent. Cheers Uncle Ben!

Mind blown!

Lance

Yep. learned this in music college back in the early 90's. It keeps everything neat, organized and seperate to stop confusion.

This is a lifesaver. Thank you 1000X!!

yes, hope everyone had an amazing Christmas! OK, i get what you are saying, just barely, but in my 'please compress it for me' ('teach me like I'm five') pea brain - does this mean basically, JUST USE SHARPS instead of flats? (to keep all the alphabet letters present). I know you said key of F# was an outlier and some others but basically - use sharps and not flats and that way, all alphabet letters will get to be at the party? (whereas they wont if you use flats, and ignoring the (2?) outlier keys)

Makes sense to OCD types... LOL. I've always done it the correct way, but had no idea that it was the correct way.

Another slice of fried gold from the Shredi Master! Always 7 there will be, no more, no less

Great info Uncle B! Very happy to be a member in 2025. Our trio is rockin' a RV Resort full of snowbirds near Tucson on NYE!

Hope you had a great Christmas as well. Now on to a Happy rest of the Holiday Season. I remember this from when I first joined you here. It did shake my long held belief as it did yours.

It makes more sense when you write music, F and F# would require constant use of a # and Natural sign. E# gives the F note it's own line or space.
