Those first two chords reminded me of "Children" by Vicious Rumors. Not sure if my theory is up to snuff, but I think the song is in Am and they open with an A/E/A basic power chord then an A/E/B Asus2 then repeat the strum pattern with C/G/C power chord then Csus2 C/G/D.

2025-12-21 16:20:23 +0000 UTCEven though you were playing the Ibanez, and you said you were searching for "Satriani" tracks. I got real Neal Schon vibes during the first half or so, very nice! I would definitely love to see the whole collection of guitars. One big video would be nice as a snapshot in time.

2025-11-20 17:22:15 +0000 UTCPart III: So, my instructor quit teaching to pursue playing, and I got a new instructor and one day I saw a beautiful guitar that looked just like my Epiphone and I found myself going back to the store every day to play it in the store. After 2 weeks my husband bought it for me. I was spending more time in the store than at home. And that's my Gibson LE SG '61 reissue

2025-11-20 16:22:43 +0000 UTCPart II: My son has been playing piano since 4 and violin since 5. When he was 12 we bought him a 5 string electric Mark Wood Viper, and a top quality bow. At 13, 14, & 15 he attended Mark Wood Rock Orchestra Camp which was awesome, but he told me he had other plans for the following summer. I was very disappointed, so he said I should learn to play and go myself. What, violin? No, he said, guitar. So that's what I did. I went to one of his violin teachers who is also a guitarist, bassist and singer for a struggling band. He sold me his Epiphone SG Pro and I started lessons.

2025-11-20 16:19:18 +0000 UTCI’ve been enjoying the improv videos a lot! If you do a guitar collection update, another option may be to organize between “modern” (shreds) and more “traditional” (teles, etc) guitars. I’m thinking it just may be easier to compare the overlap (or unusual distinctions!) in tones/features amongst those groups. It’ll be a fun watch regardless!

2025-11-20 16:16:00 +0000 UTCSince no one else will care, and as far as I can tell your Patreon members aren't very social, but I can try.... The 1st guitar was an acoustic given to my violin-playing son from the lady who babysat when he was little little. It belonged to her husband and when he passed away she passed it along. It sat in the basement for years (actually, it's still there, but I did bring it up, clean it up, give it new stri gs and it's own strap and then relegated it to the basement again. But that was more recently. It was ignored for 5 or 6 years. )
