Hey Ben, any chance of a video on your techniques for doing the Fallout motif? Doing the randomize pater with the leaf shouldn’t be hard but weathering it without doing a blue patina is what I’m after! Thanks for the awesome videos and content! Love it all!

I think the oxidised copper finished pickups with the plain black guard looked off the charts aesthetic wise

Your sound description of the pickups is spot on. Love the Dimarzios for a different tone. I would try the distressed bare knuckle covers to match the volume knob, or a set of cream would look great. Not a big fan of the green…but not a deal breaker by any means. Killer demo to show off the pickup differences…both sound fantastic!

Nice one, B. regarding the problem you mentioned with the action, make sure the neck hasn't been pulled up while you were messing around. You might want to re-seat the neck, by just loosening the screws (not all the way, just a few turns!) while the strings are on it and then re-tightening them to see if it fixes the action issue and pulls the neck tighter into the joint.

The distressed leaf is honestly one of the best finishes I've seen on a guitar. I think it sounds a little better with the Dimarzios too. Hear me out real quick on the pickguard; is there a way to do one that looks like a weathered Radioactive hazard sign? You know, make it look beat up and faded with some copper leaf spots to mimic rust? I know that's definitely way more work, just an idea I had.

OK for what it’s worth I like the sound of the new PUs minus the crackling but for the aesthetic, I’d go w/ the black mirror pick guard and the oxidized pickup covers like what you had on there before. I think that would pull it all together.

Would love if you could list songs you're playing in the video in comments. I know I should know them, but my memory won't let me! THANKS BEN!
