"Y'all are gonna flip" he says. That's underselling it! Holy shit dude, congrats!!! I hope we get to hear/see some of the show!

An exercise for building up to shredding would be great. Things like accenting notes, speed bursting, hand sync etc. Two of your recent videos inspired me to learn Master of Puppets and Cliffs of Dover and I need help!

Ok so it may sound dumb but can you make a video sometime about doing exercises with a metronome, like how to break it down to 16th notes, 8ths, etc. Cause sometimes when Im practicing I dont feel like im improving at all even tho the bpm is going up. Id appreciate that. Thank you man!

I knew a guy who stood right next to the wall when he practiced such that his fretting hand literally hit the wall if his fingers flew off the fretboard. I've never tried that technique myself, but maybe it could work?

what are some approaches to keep your picking hand under control? For instance, I recorded myself playing and I noticed that I create a U-shape pick attack instead of a smooth up and down, like I am bouncing off of the string rather than picking through the string. I am certain it's making me hit a wall, but I don't know how to remedy it.

Best pinch harmonic in guitar history is????????🤔

Ben, I'm getting pain (tension) in my right elbow much the same as you described having. Any help would be appreciated. Chris

Ben, thank you for so much awesome content! You've helped me in so many areas. I've been playing for many decades and until you pointed out the "not so much pressure on the fretting hand" idea, I always played with a heavy hand. It's made a world of difference in my playing and I thank you. What I'm wondering is, my fingers have been trained to fly off the fretboard because of the heavy hand. How would you try to get the fingers to stay closer to the fretboard for the next note, especially the pinky. That dude is all over the place and I feel like it slows me down. Thanks, Ben!!

Definitely a down picking workout! A masterdul tune and thanks Uncle Ben!

I find that closing my eyes (after memorizing the song parts) and feeling the music helps me with relaxing. Have you ever done this? Playing at different speeds in a single song requires different picking techniques so how do you transition between those techniques on the fly during a song? Any tips on transitioning between picking techniques on the fly?

How to do that awesome looking EVH tremolo picking. !!
