You all have been asking for this one for YEARS.... what's the secrets of BEAUTIFUL vibrato on bends??? Is it the lemon face? Is it the elbow wiggle? The sweat? The pain and suffering? Heck NAW!
I'm gonna show you how the likes of Yingyang Milkshake, Gary Moore, David Gilmour, and others shake a rope like the Ultimate Warrior at Summer Slam. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or a pro, or if you're playing country OR western music, you NEED this technique to sound more better!

There’s an articulation technique that’s right at the 5:00 mark in this video, at the end of the fast run that Ben does: a quick rake with the picking hand into the bent final note. Ben and other Shredi knights do it all the time and I’m struggling with it— either I can’t get the target note to ring out or I get too much noise from the lower strings. I’ve looked for videos on this rake style— it’s not the heavier SRV-style rake but quicker and more subtle. Anyone know of a good video that Ben or anyone else has done specifically on it?

What exact part of your thumb is best to use for a high success rate? Should one really rotate the thumb downward? How does one get better at developing muscle memory for how far down the string you do the pinch for various harmonics? And why am I so much worse at pinch harmonics on certain strings? These are all questions I wrestle with.
