WW363: 4's and 6's Will Impress Your Stepmom!

I know y'all are here cause i'm so classy.

And i also know you wanna keep it real and increase your speed, synchronization, and understanding of subdivisions! Thats why i came up with this killer workout in F#minor.

Subdivisions aren't just for living in, you know. If you wanna shred like the next Francis Bubbletrousers, you gotta understand them and be able to BLAZE them, too!

Grab the TAB, practice tracks, and Guitar Pro file below to start earning that stepmom respect!!! Lets go!!!

Hey Carlos, I had a similar issue and my teacher told me to raise my wrist up, downward slant the pick and ensure that the angle to the string is pretty acute (like 45 degrees). Also, really anchor your fingers to the guitar body as well. The movement should come from your thumb. It feels weird at first but I have noticed significant improvement.

Hey guys, Im new to the community. I need help with my right hand. I find that when I increase my picking speed, my right hand bounces. I've been playing for a while and that is the biggest hurdle l've encountered. My right hand can not keep up with my left and as a result, I default to doing legato. Does anyone know what I can do to finally overcome this issue. Is there a specific video that uncle Ben made that might help me? Ps. I asked this question on a different video but I figured that it would probably not be answered since it’s from 2020

Carlos

There is an unnumber of notes per string playing here so yes you have to pickslant cheers

Hey Uncle Ben, just wondering. Do you personally use two way pickslanting to play this?

Hi Uncle Ben I wanted to thank you for all the years of help you have given me with my arthritic hands and making me the guitar player I was. We have released our new CD Chapters by Wicked Maraya. If you get a chance take a listen I think you’ll dig it. Thanks Mike

Damn you, Uncle Ben! I’m tired of tearing sexy pictures of you off my mom’s wall. 😁

I've been digging into some pickslanting vids and trying to determine for sure which I should be focusing more on... mainly the two pentatonic licks to flip up and downward. I noticed that I transition between 4 and 6 more better strting with the upstroke.... does this mean I am a dreaded upward pickslanter????

Paul Baglio

Nice.. Well played. "Kudos" (that someone's step mom used to give us after school as a 'snack') to you.
