The REAL Reason It's Hard to Play Up High!

Why is it tougher to shred high up on the neck? Thats a question that was posed to me by you lovely and loyal patrons, and there's a couple reasons... a few are obvious, but there's one that NOBODY ever mentions, and it can REALLY explain why our hands can feel kind of disconnected when we play up on the dusty frets. What is RADIAL DISTORTION and how is it messing up your playing? Find out today!!!

I ALWAYS love answering your all's questions on FAQ You, so please be sure to drop me more in the comments!!!

The REAL Reason It's Hard to Play Up High!

Just bought the Ibanez j Custom RG8560 in blue from Sweetwater. Not really digging the DiMarzio Black Velvet humbucker yet. Had to remove a shim from under the locking nut ,and I'm still in the "getting to know ya" phase. Should be able to get the action low with the 17" radius, and they mold the Lo-Pro Edge neck radius right into the trem, so no shims there, but man is it buzzing bad!!! Someone stole my Suhr Pete Thorn - I'm gonna catch that sumbitch trying to sell it!!! Excellent video!

One time some dude who was showing me how to play something yelled at me for not using my pinky finger on the high up frets lol. I'm gonna send him this video
