News & Updates 41 - Loona Segment Progress

Quick version: Update is almost ready. I’ll release it soon as is, with extra fixes coming later. Most challenges were with Loona’s segment since she takes the most time and effort. I’ll keep you updated and share more sketches in the meantime.

I am almost done with the new update — just need to wrap up the last bits, put everything together, and then I will show it to you soon!

There are still plenty of things I realized along the way that need fixing, polishing, or improving. But since this update has already taken me a while (gosh I'm tired 😪), I decided to release it as it is now and bring the extra fixes in later patches.

For example, I want to change the illustration where the protagonist fantasizes about Loona. The previous one feels too plain to me (both in terms of pose and showing off Loona’s curves, as well as her facial expression).

As expected, most of these challenges showed up in the Loona segment. On one hand, she is the character everyone expects the most from (she is very popular, after all). On the other hand, she takes the most energy, time, and retries from me to get her right — at least by my own standard of what «good» means.
