Okay, Trish, you better not be doing some big reference character again.
Trish
Don’t worry, I’m not. So, I’m multiclassing Great Old One Warlock and Shadow Magic Sorcerer.
MMS
Oh, really going for that high Charisma build, huh? Super good at, like, persuasion and stuff?
Trish
Actually, my character’s pretty quiet. Doesn’t really talk.
MMS
Huh, okay.
Trish
For my background, I was tempted to go with the Knight variant of the Noble background, for obvious reasons—
MMS
Wait, what reasons—
Trish
—but eventually I decided to go Haunted One. My character has this pretty dark backstory, all about shadows and ancient dark gods and stuff.
MMS
Sounds pretty cool.
Trish
Got some good Eldritch Invocations, too, like, I’ve got Otherworldly Leap, Trickster’s Escape, Mask of Many Faces…
MMS
Yeah, those sound good. What’s your character’s race, by the way? You didn’t mention.
Trish
Oh, I’m a Thri-Kreen.
