Alright, so, I’m going Warlock.
MMS
Didn’t you just do a warlock?
Trish
Yeah, but that one was Fathomless patron, this one’s Hexblade.
MMS
Uh, okay. You’re not doing any weird homebrew, are you?
Trish
Don’t worry, totally ordinary character this time. Ordinary boon, invocations, everything.
MMS
Oh, you’ve already picked out your Pact Boon and Eldritch Invocations?
Trish
Yup. Pact of the Blade…
MMS
Good choice for Hexblade.
Trish
My thoughts exactly. Then for Invocations, I’m starting with Arcane Gunslinger and Armour of Shadows, then getting Undying Servitude at fifth level, Trickster’s Escape at seventh, and Ascendant Step at ninth.
MMS
Good choices. What’s your background?
Trish
Urchin. When my character was little, her parents were wiped out, along with most of her hometown, and her brother was kidnapped by a mysterious cult. She’s had to raise herself, alone.
MMS
Oh, that’s sad.
Trish
Yeah. She stumbled across the mysterious cult again when she grew up, though, and now they think she’s, like, their leader. That’s where she got her magic weapon from.
