She looked down it. Walker talked with supply and hers are better. That can be the only reason she survived.

That's what I thought whie watching. But I still wasnt sure, if it was something to do with the helmet, or that it was 'safe' outside. I'm so excited for S2 and will get on with it ASAP! Thanks Em!

Why does the head of IT feel like it’s a bogus position and he’s really in charge of the silo. “Shut your eyes. What you just saw you will unsee” is crazy! Why bother having a mayor if IT are the ones that control it all… Is that an AC unit? He’s making them drop an AC unit on her?? We’re only fackin 11 minutes in! I love how firmly Shirley is on her side, but I agree with knox that they never would’ve been able to hide her. I mean, Jules has a point. One child is scared of her, there are probably a lot scared of simms. He’s shackled her feet together and is still expected to walk up all those stairs? That’s mad! So jules stole IT’s heat tape, is that because IT has better tape? Or did mechanical have better tape and they found out because of the stolen tape? SHE’S OUT! “We’re not gonna die, just feels like it” 😭 walker is going to save her? Carla? “Up here again” so is walk from the mids? Did she run to mechanical the same as Jules did? So she’s seeing the video of George, but we know how skilled IT can be. Is it doctored footage? Would they have that ability? Are they just trying to get her to do what they want? What is the significance of a shadow, I thought it was maybe like an apprentice? But the term seems to hold more weight than that. Shadows seem far more important than we would consider an apprentice. I’m gonna keep asking until they show us, what the fuck are they mining?!? What’s in the mines? Where are the mines? I WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE MINES?!? She’s lying to her dad to protect him and stop a rebellion. What’s in the box? She’s put something in the box! Your mind goes to poison, I was thinking more a hidden note or file or something so she can escape 😂 They’re good in supply? She went to see Carla and asked how supply was. SHE ASKED ABOUT THE TAPE!! We keep seeing the tape… Billings has made a deal? Because that doesn’t sound shady and ominous at aaalllll. I hate how he talks down to her “tinkering with the generator” fuck you Bernard! Mechanical keeps the silo alive! The sheer panic from everyone when they switched it off in episode 3 proves how important they are! That shocked him. Did he not know about the door? I want to see the door, I just need a tour of the mines and to see the door! Is that too much to ask?!? The music for this is making it so much worse 😂 whoever wrote the score is incredible! The birds are the same! What is it with shows and facking birds man! Oooooooh sassy Jules! Bernard is such a creep! He has it timed how long people would last? He knows how long they’ll live which proves that it’s all purposeful! Cleaning is always intended to be a death sentence. THE TAPE!! They’re good in supply, did they swap IT’s shitty tape for the good stuff so her suit is fully sealed, the air can’t get in! How many silos are there? Is that the relevance of the 18? Is she from silo 18? Are they numbered? They play the lush green through the helmet so that people will clean and “show” the rest of the silo what’s outside. Alison died thinking she was seeing the real green outside, somehow knowing that it was all a lie makes her death in episode 1 even sadder 😭 I’m soooo looking forward to season 2, my mind is completely blown! I need aaaaallll the answers!! Thanks Claudie, your reactions to this are brilliant!!

2025-07-31 03:07:24 +0000 UTCSo I think that "They're good in supply" was telling her "There's a reason we used a ton of the GOOD TAPE on your suit"... as in "Don't lift the visor on your helmet. Don't let ANY of that outside air get inside your suit." So she now has only enough time as she has oxygen in that tank... Getting inside somewhere is going to be first priority. Agree 100% that horizontal shafts to other silos was what they were looking for "out of bounds" on whatever floor. It may even be that silos were all supposed to be connected and perhaps even are connected... Just the one we have been seeing into was left isolated do to mechanical failure or a technical glitch. ETA: Perhaps the rebellion they always refer to was a rebellion this silo lost... and is the reason they were cut off from the other silo network. So.... This silo we've been watching is basically Australia.

2025-07-29 20:02:14 +0000 UTCHello, regarding the heat tape, they said in an earlier episode (and in this one), they don't know why IT got upset about stealing their heat tape since Walker's tape is much better anyway. So what I think happened is that Walker talked Carla (her ex wife) into switching the heat tape with the ones that Walker made/has (the better ones), which saved Jules, hence the "they're good in supply" statement. I think Bernard got upset about the theft earlier because he got scared they would find out about the suits and the shitty tapes. Just my two cents :)

What’s behind the door Bernhard opened with key 18? What did Billings tell to Sims? Did they made a deal? What is that door at the bottom of the Silo? And why didn’t Jules die like the others? And probably many i already forgot about again...At least for the last one they gave us some clues. Well one clue, the heattape. Here is what i was thinking when i watched it the first time: Think about what Martha and the other women, Carla, discussed. Carla: "Why do they care so much? Your tape is way better then theirs!" Martha: "I know, it doesnt make any sense.....unless it does". So what i took from this is that the heattape Martha had, the same tape that Jules stole from IT at some point, is somehow different, or better then any other tape they have access to. Then there was her message to Jules, "They are well in supply". This tells me that Martha, with the help of her friend Carla, was somehow able to get the tape they had from IT inside the supply room for the cleaning suits. And i think thats the tape they used for Juliettes suit. But was that the reason why she survived? I guess we have to wait and find out in season 2. So what else happened...Sims is still a piece of shit, i fucking hate him so much! Jules somehow survived that huge drop, no idea how. And the display inside the helmet is showing a fake outside world. Anything else? Oh yes, RIP Lukas lmao 🤣 This took me way to long to write, i hope its not too much text.
