I think the exterior isn't as desolate as it looks from the Silo, nor as green as the helmet (yes, the helmet) shows Holston. By the way, why does Rebecca Ferguson become more attractive as the episodes progress?!

2025-07-01 17:44:53 +0000 UTCWhat Holston sees outside is very suspicious: (a) It doesnโt seem real, very saturated. (b) We only ever see it from Holstonโs perspective. (c) It seems to be the exact scene Allison and George saw in a recording thatโs at least 140 years old, including the tree and the birds. (d) As you mentioned, the little we see after he takes off his helmet doesnโt match the supposed surroundings. Iโd be surprised if there werenโt any other people outside the silo, just from a story-telling perspective. But in a sci-fi universe and without reliable information about the outside, the world could be anything. The silo could be a human zoo on an alien planet or part of a massive generation ship dug into an asteroid.
