Name Magic is Hard
Added 2020-10-20 08:00:02 +0000 UTCHexes, or "name magic", are no longer possible in most parts of the galaxy. The few worlds where it remains alive tend to be avoided by space travelers. They're difficult to live in, since everyone has names that are deliberately too hard to remember.
One such world is Kluggo 12, lead by a President whose name is a 112-verse poem about skiing (91 of those verses are classified). Her inauguration was televised, though they bleeped out her name every time it was said (which takes 2 hours each time).

If I were worried about name magic I would name my child [redacted] and leave it up to interpretation how to pronounce the square brackets.
