Her character is Sorma Willems, a Cyborg Harpoonist whose parents were killed by a raging AstrOrca. She is in a relationship with Minnow's character; Osrot Drie, a Rogue Marine Biologist who is looking for the Starwhal who escaped her aquarium.
They haven't played in a month because Sally, their DM, has exams.
