IMPORTANT: About this month's poll
Added 2025-01-19 01:57:16 +0000 UTCAlright, so I have been monitoring and thinking about some things, and I've realized there was an oversight on my part about how I wanted to decide the winners.
First, as a clarification, the intention of this month's poll and the special characteristics of it was more to result in a neat crossover, and encourage some variety. But what I didn't consider, in an honestly huge oversight on my part, is what would happen if one single series just dominated the poll. I took a risk thinking because with the 25 options available, it would turn out differently… But I should’ve figured with the characters from the series I’m most involved with fandom wise would probably take the top. Now, I understand that if people suggested them and if people are voting for them so much, it should be fine for the most part, as it is what people like, after all. It just feels slightly unfair for the rest of the candidates and people’s choices when the odds were astronomically stacked against them. Also limiting the creativity this kind of poll allows.
So I’d like to discuss some ideas for a way to satisfy everyone because it wouldn’t be fair to just change the rules mid-way, or null the poll due to a communication mistake from my end... and perhaps, this might not even be a big of a deal to you, the one who votes! I don't know for sure!
So that's why I want to know your opinion, PLEASE VOTE on which of the options would you mostly prefer:
a) I limit how many characters from the same series can be a winner in the same poll: If we limit series choices, that means the highest voted girl in that series is chosen over the other representatives. So be sure if you’d like a girl to be represented more than another in the same series, to vote accordingly!
b) Do 2 separate pieces, one with the overall winners, and one with each winner from a different series: If we choose both, I’ll simply create the crossover piece representing the girls from the top 3 series. Then another piece purely based on the order of how many votes each choice was given.
c) Continue the poll rules as they currently are: If we choose this, then we just continue on with the extended voting time and just accept whatever the results are.
I was already going to extend voting on the main poll either way, so just in case the terms of the poll change from this, I’ll give people more time to decide.
I also want to apologize for the inconvenience, this type of poll had way more variables that I didn't really think through and these polls are really to expand on what I create outside of the usual stuff I make. Broadening my horizons using your feedback and support! So I’ll make sure to do better for next time so we can avoid awkward instances like this in the future. Thank you all again for your continued patronage and I hope to deliver only the best for you guys!

How about 2 separate polls for future content? One only for Danganronpa characters and one for other series. Only if that is not too much work of course :)
