Another Chance Update 15, The One You've All Been Waiting For!

It only took us about two years, but today we finally release the first full sex scene for our sex game!

Well of course, this is so much more than just a "sex game" and that is a big part of the reason why it took so long to release our first real "sex" scene. 

I remember when we made our first introductory posts about this game, people replied with "It looks interesting, but I'll come back in 6 months". And those comments really confused me. Because while they might have experienced and saw other promising studios crash and burn and become abandoned, I knew from day one what great heights we were capable of, and that we would without a doubt achieve them.  

(P.S. this is only the beginning, we are just getting started :D )

I wanted this game to be a true craft of love and care, not some cheap shitty hentai game where you're banging half the school's indiscernible cast within 10 minute of playing. I knew that that would not be a satisfactory experience, and instead I wanted to build a real game, with real characters and genuine stories, and that takes time, anticipation, and build-up, just like it does in real life. 

In fact, we went public with the Demo on January 5th, 2020, almost exactly 2 years to the date. And what a great way to celebrate our almost 2 year anniversary, with one of our best and steamiest updates yet!

So now, a bit about our future plans and what we have in store for Another Chance and Time Wizard Studios:

So first, our next update will be on February 1st, since Jan 1st is only 2 weeks away and we will not have enough time to have another quest ready. But we will take this time to get all our ducks in order, so after the release on Feb 1st, we should be able to go back to our regularly scheduled programming of one quest a month. 

But don't think that after this update we'll go back to only scenes featuring hand holding and forehead kisses. We will continue to release quests with more and more sexual scenes. 

Here is a little preview of what you should receive come February, a nice bonding moment between the MC and two of the girls. I'll let you guys try to guess which two characters these are supposed to be. (Hint: this is not the trio's first time sharing an intimate moment together).

But don't worry, for all you degenerates that just want to save her and hold her hand, we will make that type of content as well. 

Right now, I feel very proud and even more grateful of what our team has managed to achieve.  With Lilwa, our writer, imbuing soul into our game with her genuine and touching writing. With Normal Mike P. Hernandez and Krithgor, our artists, bringing our characters to life, turning them from ideas and words on a piece of paper, to breathing, living, animated people, moving back and forth across your screen. And last but not least, to Jotape and Tama, our programmers, for making everything dance in beautiful symphony.

But like I said before, this is only just the beginning!

First, I want to introduce you guys to Bubba, our latest hire, who is helping to spread the good word of our naughty bits! He has been hard at work building up our subreddit, growing it from 0 subs to almost 5,000 in pretty much the span of a month!

We post lots of behind the scene action from our game, some funny memes and edits, and just lots of little tidbits of content. Come check it out, you might find some pieces of the game you never knew existed.

And besides that, the next best step for us is to have our studio grow. 

One thing that I have been thinking about is making this studios monthly revenue private. Some people might see that we are earning $4500 - $5000 a month and think that we are swimming in money, that we do not need any more support. But that could not be further from the truth. Right now, all our Patreon earnings are being reinvested into the studio and the team. We are definitely not making any sizeable sums of profit from this game, but that does not concern me in the slightest, because like I mentioned, from day one I knew the long term vision for this game. The multi-year, genre-changing, long term vision. 

The next big thing I want to do is work with Lilwa and Mike to expand both our Writing and our Art team, firstly, to give them some breathing room, as pretty much 90% of the content creation falls individually on their shoulders, and secondly, so we are able to become a more professional and official studio, with multiple artists and writers working under them, allowing us to make more of this content that you guys like, and at much faster speeds. 

So really, this is when we need your support the most. To turn this little nugget of glowing potential into a fully fledged empire. And I believe that this is more than possible. That is why I want to private our funds, just so potential supporters who might not be fully aware of the costs of running a studio don't get the wrong idea. Of course, if this turns out to be not a good idea, like any change, we can reverse it.

Some final comments:

Another thing I want to mention is that I personally read every piece of feedback, criticism, and review left about our game, across all platforms. Now some seem to be a little more vitriolic then necessary, but I am still very glad and gracious to see and hear your opinions, no matter how harsh or scalding. I truly do want to make this game as good as possible.

There have been two main critiques of this game.

The first is a lack of sexual scenes, which is partially by design as we wanted to build up to them, but also we definitely have recognized the complaints and as you can see have been trying to remedy it, with this update, and some of our future upcoming updates.

And the second criticism is about the core gameplay mechanics. Now this is much harder to fix, but I also definitely recognize the truth in it. I do want to and expect to remedy this situation, but this will have to be part of Another Chance 2.0 (Or maybe we should call it Another Another Chance :D). So this will definitely take some time, but I think about this every day. Like you guys have recognized, our art is amazing, our writing is fantastic, but our gameplay does leave a little to be desired. But I do have lots of great ideas that I think could fix this. Like I said, I want this game to be genre-defining. And Another Chance 2.0 is undoubtedly on the road map. I want to take all the best parts of the game, amplify them, fix all the shortcomings, add actual fun and meaningful gameplay mechanics, make it available on multiple platforms, make it easier to play and more accessible, all before we release the final and fully finished version of this game. 

I think that's pretty much all I want to say.
