just for example, 10% of the vote this month was for GD characters. 15% if you count the TvE characters, which is not quite GD, but are Fred originals. And while I nominated Fred's choice this month, and I am glad it won, it only won at 16% of the vote. I think there is very little chance any GD ideas will ever win without some coordination, since any number of more popular properties will always get closer to 10% on their own. And keep in mind 16% of 160 votes is only ~25 votes. So that isn't a crazy amount of patrons to round up. I'm not sure if me suggesting this is in violation of Fred's rules here or not though, if it is, then I apologize and ignore me!

There have been a lot of GD things I'd like to vote for. Pretty much everyone suggested in recent months has been good to me. Problem is we all nominate multiple GD characters and split the vote. So then something more popular wins with only like 12-15% of the vote. I say we try to coordinate us GD fans if we want to get some GD ideas past the vote. maybe do some private messaging before next months vote, I dunno.

Honestly, I think there are quite a lot of GD lovers in the community, just not many that share the same tastes when it comes to certain pairings.

I don't think that works as well when combined with ideas that are nominated and seconded by patrons to begin with. He's already got 15-20 ideas each month, at least half of which are always new. I think that type of voting would only work if Booty Doc was presenting 4-5 ideas for us to vote upon instead. The current system isn't perfect, but's it's fair and democratic without putting too much additional work on BD.
