Empowered was a fan of the old school Heroes such as Captain Rivet... she probably remembers and respects Nick more for his days leading the, "Howling Commandos" than she does him as the Director of SHIELD. And if he's there to invite her to the Avengers Initiative and get her the hell out of the Superhomies, all the better!
