I believe for the us debut they wanted to get a more organic reach to the public. So they source reached out to big name YouTubers/tic tokers/ and game streamer Valkyrie to help promote the collab song. So I don’t think money was exchange just a way to promote le sserafim to the English speaking audience in the states/western world. Because the tik tokers they collabed w where all English speakers. Chaewon was cleared at the time they went to nyc but was set to meet them on Nov 1. So she missed like 5 days I think of promo in the nyc before meeting them in la for the Grammy museum,etc.
