i actually liked the landon/ted/alaric storyline, but literally fuck alaric he adds nothing to this show and nothing to the plot besides being annoying and selfish. besides that, loved this ep!!! ted deserves better than having to be the necromancer again :(

NO SPOILERS FOR THE LEGACIES ANSWERED QUESTIONS AND BACK STORY SPOILERS FOR THE ORIGIONALS AND TVD Yes hope can compel like the other originals but on Arura it wont work because her and her brother and Lucian from "The Originals" have found a way to make compulsion not work even with out the use of vervain. Arura, Tristan and Lucian had lost 100 years of their lives to the compulsion of the originals and they "wont let it happen again". - Lizzie sire bond broke because the person she believed hope to be changed. Hope with out humanity was different cruel un loving non caring everything lizzie believed hope to be the opposite of so once she realized this was how she is lizzies sire bond broke as her perception of hope changed. - Lizzies plan which may have been misunderstood was for both her and Arura to go back in time but for Lizzie to be when her dad, Josie and Hope were fine and for Arura to go when Tristan was alive, both being in their own different times. -The weapon hope made that went into Arura's heart was a off brand less effective papa Tunde's blade from "The original's" which was a weapon made from a bone from the hollow imbued with dark magic which could be used on anyone even Klaus or the other originals. The blade would cause who ever it was in to experience unimaginable anguish/pain so like 1 billion out of 10 on the rate your pain scale. The blade was used a lot in the originals until it was combined and used to resurrect the hollow. The blade combined with its effects would also put the person into a comatose state like the original's daggers but with the person still alive in anguish. The blade subdued and worked on Klaus keeping him trapped for a number of years at one point. The blade's effects would work on any creature excluding Malivore because he would absorb, it at least in his mud state. The blade's effects were overcome by Mikael because he is a pain brute so he was able to rip the blade out of his chest. The same happened to Kalus after a few years of the pain and motivation to save his daughter he was able to over come the blade. Hope's purpose for the blade was to make Arura suffer. - Not sure if you had watched "The Originals". - No Humanity hope just wanted to make Aura suffer because of what she did to her family and what Arura had said about Klaus -Josie left because the actor did as you know the reason why she would stay gone is because Josie has always been different like her biological mom joe. Josie wants a normal life like when she want to the other high school. Josie's character will probably go live a normal life unfortunately we cant be sure because of the actors departure from the show -TDVU humanity is inconsistent I wouldn't say they have "emotions" it can be argued that they do have anger, resentment, ext., but my opinion is that their "emotions" are all turned off but I'm not a psychologist but I think hope's actions and choices are seen as emotions like resentment but really their not just what people would recognize and believe that emotion to be. -Kathrine from TVD said after a while the humanity switch doesn't really work and they just fake it the originals as we know never turned off their humanity possibly because they were just to old or didn't have a reason to do so or maybe they cant. Hope turned off her humanity and she is a original so after a while I assume she will lose the ability to turn her humanity off.
